Preparing your CPAS application: what you need to know
The CPAS (public social welfare centre) is often the first place to turn when you have no income. Before your appointment, it helps to gather a few documents: your identity card, proof of address (or a reference address), proof of income or absence of income, and any letters you have already received from the centre.
You do not need a complete file to make a first request — the CPAS can guide you. If you are unsure which documents are needed or how to explain your situation, our volunteers can help you prepare before you go. The goal is simple: arrive calmly, with your documents sorted, and be heard.
